<p>Over the years within the City, the pavements have expanded in width, roads have narrowed, cycle lanes have increased, and city residents continue to suffer without essential parking space on residential roads close to their homes.</p>
<p>Fann Street is a typical example, there is ample space for both residents vehicles, the pavement does not need to be as wide as present.</p>
<p>I would like to see more resident parking spaces, electric charging points on all estates, and roads that have a high density of residents. Other London boroughs provide on-street parking for their residents, some charge a fee, the City needs to re-examine its parking policies for its residents.</p>
