Hi Nick, I am not quite sure what the gardening group get involved in fully, but wonder if you have heard of the Street Scene Strategy run by the Corporation? The Corporations website has an area dedicated to this (as it should), I believe it comes under the Planning Dept. I have tried to find a contact on the CoL website but alas no luck but I will keep looking. I have an idea that hanging baskets on the pillars that run up Goswell Road under Crescent House would make that area very much nicer and another area I think needs prettying up is the piazza! from Crescent House/Shakespeare pub to Gt. Arthur House. I know officers from the Corporation involved with the Street Scene Strategy are very much involved with residents from the Barbican Estate. I. What do you think?
