Listing and Balcony repairs

Our balcony floor tiles are being replaced ldue to leakage in the flat below. So we had a site visit and we made sure they were aware of the listing. Like for like or as close to the original as possible. They started this morning and again we mentioned the listing and were told that ‘his boss’ had email approval from the City. As you can see it bears no relation to any balcony tile on this estate.

We called the City and sent them the photo. We have had an email asking us ‘ how they can help ‘. We have explained the listing and said it would be twice the work if they have to be taken up again.

We are waiting on a full response so that we can inform Waites. They are supposed to do the tiling tomorrow. Why are we having to chase all this when it’s the City who insist on us following listing guidelines.
