Dear Golden Lane Cycle Project Team,
I am writing to address a situation regarding access to the bike storage facility in Bowater .
Recently, there was a lock change initiated without prior notice to those of us who store our bikes there. This left me quite surprised as I only became aware of it when I found the gates wide open, with a child seemingly exploring the area.
Naturally, I took it upon myself to secure my bike; however, the estate office was unable to provide me with any contact information regarding this sudden change. It has come to my attention that the bike shed houses bikes belonging to multiple individuals, not just those associated with the Bowater.
In light of this situation, I urgently require the passcode to access my bike. If someone from the Golden Lane Cycle Project team could kindly share it with me, I would greatly appreciate it. Ensuring the security and accessibility of our bikes is of utmost importance, and I believe that prompt resolution of this issue is in everyone's best interest.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to a swift resolution.
Please email me the code or pm me here

Very sorry that this has happened. I will ask the project managers for the project to contact you as a matter of urgency.
Hi there,
I've messaged you directly with the code in this instance. The Estate Office issued letters to all residents in Bowater & Bayer explaining the changes a few weeks before, with the codes. Also posters were put up across the Estate. I will check why the Estate Office weren't able to help you but they have been very helpful and supportive to date with the changes and communicating these.
Locks were changed to Borg Mechanical locks (which lock automatically) as part of a security upgrade to cycle storage facilities.
There is also now a large plastic sign reminding people to close the gates, which is always important.
Hope this resolves your issue and thanks for bringing this to our attention!
also wish to add i secured the bike shed too. thank you for your responses.
