Market Day 4th June

[GENERAL COMMENTS & QUERIES]

We are looking for donations for competiton and raffles prizes.

Can you help Market Day be a resounding success this year. We would like to have a raffle, funds all going to support future community events for Golden Lane estate  residents.

 

So we need:

• some good raffle prizes
• prizes for best cakes ( it would be nice to have an adult and child category and maybe types of cake. Suggestions for those too please
• If we have a children's fancy dress competition we need appropriate prizes for that.

Ideas? Well may be you provide a service you could donate, take someone's photo, cut someones hair, cook someone a meal, donate tickets for the theatre, cinema, a free walking tour, bottles of wine, chocolates, free cakes for a month, a basket of fruit and or vegetables. Maybe you have contacts & connections you could get a donation from.

 

Please let us know on here as soon as possible so that we can promote these activities well ahead.

Is the market day going ahead this weekend?  We're new on the estate and were looking forward to attending, but I've not seen any notices up or details of what's happening?
