Middlesex Street Protest

The City Planning Committee recently gave permission to a new high rise office building that will overshadow much of the Middlesex Street Estate. Naturally residents are not happy about this and they are organising a protect on Thursday outside the west wing of the Guildhall at 11:45. Please come to show solidarity if you can.

I'll be there and hope to see many other GLE residents there. Middlesex Street Estate residents have the same issues as us as regards planning and with the Eastern Cluster have suffered even more than us with regard to this. Some of them very actively - with their time, labour and donations - supported us in opposing The Denizen, so let's get a good turn out on Thursday from GLE to support them in opposing the Houndsditch office tower.
