Are you a City parent who wants to help improve local health and wellbeing services?
A young parent is wanted to join a Children, Young People and Maternity care workstream that is looking at how to deliver improved services for local people. City residents are particularly encouraged to apply to ensure City voices are heard, although Hackney residents can also get involved.
This is an opportunity to share your experiences of services and inform decisions on how they can work better. Candidates should have experience of using children, young people’s or maternity health, wellbeing or care services.
The Public Representative will receive training, support, and reimbursement of travel, childcare and carer expenses. This is currently a voluntary role however we are looking at whether representatives could receive payment in future.
How to apply
Interested residents should submit the completed application form to info@healthwatchhackney.co.uk by 5 February 2018. If you have any questions please phone 07856796512.
The care workstream is part of the integrated commissioning programme that involves City of London Corporation, NHS City and Hackney Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Hackney Council working together to create a more joined-up local health and wellbeing system.
