For those who may not already know...

There is a website which shows current air quality / pollution around London... http://www.londonair.org.uk/LondonAir/Default.aspx

This website also has links to mobile phone apps so that one can monitor air quality on one's phone and plan walking routes to avoid pollution (although that basically seems to be to avoid busy roads!)
