Top tips for living on GLE

Hi all

 

I'm moving in to GLE soon.

I've lived in the Barbican for several years, so I know the area generally.

 

But specifically, what are your top tips for getting the best out of living on the Golden Lane Estate? What services does the Estate Office help with? As a resident, are there any useful bits of insider knowledge you've gained? Recommendations? What should I definitely NOT do?

Things to do:
Go swimming every day
Get an allotment bag or at least join the waiting list
Help get the Great Arthur House roof garden opened on a regular basis

I'm not sure I can take on any more voluntary activities but I'll always smile!

 

Where do the allotment bags go? Is there a central location where they're left out for us to maintain them? I walked around the estate but I didn't see an allotment area.

Just enjoy living in probably the best location in Central London, that`s what I do!!!  Everyday is a holiday here.
