Dedicating our Autumn series to the remarkable activities of three of London's truly independent publishing operations, we open with the indefatigable CB editions. Founded by poet and writer Charles Boyle in 2007, it's now heading towards its 100th title. CB editions publishes short fiction, poetry, translations and other work which ‘might otherwise fall through the cracks between the big publishers’ (Guardian). CB titles have won prizes for fiction, poetry and translation, and have been shortlisted for many other awards. It is a one-person living room table operation.
