Electric meter reading

Would anyone know what is going on with the meter readings on the estate? a form was circulated so the staff would read the meters every month, but nothing seems to have happened. Would anyone have a key to the meter cupboard so I could take a reading? Thanks.See More

Hello all.  I am writing this post as a tribute to my dearest Mum, who passed away last evening in St Joseph's Hospice, after a long battle with Cancer.  Many people knew my Mum, and she was known as being a kind and gentle person, who always cared for others.  I am heartbroken, and she was my only near relative I have.  Although I am on my own, caring for my partner who has dementia. I am so thankful for all the support I have received from so many people.  Thank you so much.  Mum is now free of pain, and at rest, and I know she will always be with me in spirit.  X

Hi Maria - I'm very sorry to hear about your Mum. When we spoke a few days a go you didn't know how long she might have left and, however much we prepare ourselves, it's always upsetting when it happens. I'm sure she will be remembered by many with affection.

I know many people will be with me when I say you have our sympathy and take care of yourself in the difficult few days ahead.

Dear David

Thank you so much for your kind words.  You have been through this, and I really appreciated our chat some days ago.  So many people have been really kind, and I am very grateful, and comforted by that.  X

Condolences Maria, thinking of you and your mother.

Thank you so much.  Bless you.X

Hi Maria, so sorry to hear your news. As I said when I saw you last if ever you want a cup of tea and a chat my door is always open. Thinking of you at this difficult time.

Lee

Thank you Lee.  I will do that. X

Thank you very much.  Mum's service was beautiful, and she was surrounded by so many flowers, which she loved.  I held a Wake in the Shakespeare pub, and that was very well attended.  I am lucky to have such kind neighbours and friends, who cared for Mum and myself, and supported me.  Its a shame you had not seen the notices about it.
