ITEMS FOR SALE OR RECYCLE

I tend to the Crescent House 'roof garden', and am undergoing a makeover for the Summer.  Yesterday, I returned home with a beautiful new plant and discovered that someone had stolen the compost I had saved for it.  Unbelievable.  Not only have some ornaments disappeared in the past, but now compost!  I wonder if whoever took it realises that it is specialist compost, only suitable for some plants.  Other types will not thrive, and may die.  My thought was 'good', and was not happy to have items 'walking' again.

However, today, I met a new neighbour who wished to leave a beautiful little bird ornament in the 'garden', because she said it was the best place for it.  Suddenly, I felt a lot better, and my faith was restored.

Sadly, we do have thefts, but it is certainly a boost when a gift arrives!

Awful behaviour!

Steve, I can't believe it.  Have just had a walk about, and found another bag of compost has been stolen!!  That totals to about £15 worth.  This never used to happen before.  It looks like it may be the same person, as I find it odd that 2 different people would steal the same sort of thing.  What is awful is that not so long ago a neighbour, further down the corridor, had some possessions stolen from outside her flat,  and it turned out to be another neighbour, I believe, who was responsible.  Am so upset about this.  So many of us leave compost outside whilst potting up.  Think I will have to warn my neighbours.

I`m innocent.  Have plenty of alibi`s.

Oh Steve!  I know you are.  But, unfortunately, we may have a thief amongst us, as the bags were heavy, so whoever took them, would not have been able to carry them too far away.
