City of London

I just wanted to say thank you to all the volunteers who worked so hard to make Saturday's Community Picnic with Music happen. Writing bids for money , and Risk Assessments, finding musicians, designing, printing and delivering the poster, and the postcards to every flat. Putting up bunting, erecting gazebos, bringing food to share, running the community cafe, and a big thanks to the two ladies who provided ice cream in cones. Then of course the task of dismantling and packing away. Most of all thank you to everybody who came. We never know if it will work until people come and enjoy themselves.
If you want things like this, volunteer to help put on Market Days, Craft Fairs, Christmas events. It's all done by your neighbours but the same folk can't keep on doing it.
Email. gleevents21@gmail.com if you want to help.
Finally what terrific musicians
