1 Golden Lane

Myself and a couple of other residents had a meeting today with the developer and architect for 1 Golden Lane, the old UBS building between the Denizen and the Barbican. The proposals are to refurbish the building as offices. They said that they were looking at making it taller but this would probably be housed in the top floor that is currently a plant space. It currently has an underground garage and this will be changed to plant and cycle facilities and the development will be car free. We…See More

COLPAI CCTV

COLPAI are proposing to place a cctv camera on the side of the school next to the ramp to the east entrance to Hatfield House. You can see the position as there is some conduit looping out from where the ground floor corner is cut away. This camera appears to be positioned so that it will record everyone entering or leaving Hatfield House or accessing the stairs to the way under the block. Depending on the field of vision it may also be able to record numberplates on vehicles using the ramp. I…See More

City of London Draft Local Plan

In my view it is too focussed on workers and commercial buildings and not enough on residents and affordable housing.I have attached my response and you can read the plan at: …See More

Tim, how do I go about raising funds for an event in mid July for the GLE? Long time since I did anything like this but pretty sure it has to go through Glera and that there are forms to fill in for the City.
Christine with thanks
