Lee Campbell is organising a huge live art event in a couple of weeks at The Barbican Centre. Firstly he would like to invite people to come and secondly he is calling for people to take part in the line and would be ever so grateful if they could pass the email on to anyone they think maybe interested in taking part especially local residents of the Golden Lane Estate/Barbican.

For more details or would like to tak part, please email to LEECAMPBELLPROJECTS@YAHOO.CO.UK

What kind of event is this?
Below is detail:

LEE CAMPBELL
CAREFUL WHISPER

THE BARBICAN, LONDON, starting at SILK STREET ENTRANCE, OCTOBER 12TH 2009
6.30-8.30pm

Lee Campbell's major performance series this year with venues The Barbican, London ( as part of the Free Art Fair) Easton, Bristol ( commissioned by Groundwork Southwest as part of YAYW 7 organised by Sylvia Rimat and others) and James Taylor Gallery Project, London
....................................................................

Last year FALLing and RISEing with REGGIE PERRIN,

This year HARRY POTTER...

THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE FUNNIEST STUDENT MISPRONUNCIATION''S I'VE EVER HAD FROM ONE OF CHINESE STUDENTS AT UIC LANGUAGE SCHOOL LONDON (WWW.UICLONDON.COM)

TEACHER TO STUDENT : GUESS MY JOB
STUDENT TO TEACHER : ARE YOU A DOCTOR?
T TO S : NO
STUDENT TO TEACHER: ARE YOU A SCIENTIST ?
T TO S : NO
STUDENT TO TEACHER : ARE YOU A REPORTER?
T TO S : NO I AM NOT HARRY POTTER!

Lee Campbell cleverly engages in the interpretation of language in both a formal and humorous way and brings together people of all walks of life.

The world record for the longest line of Chinese Whisper participants is 1330 set in July 2008 in the Arsenal Emirates Stadium with schoolchildren. I want to smash this. I want to use all age groups, people from all walks of life, colours and creeds, all communities to create a truly linguistic-delicious spectacle
