As the Community centre has increased the amount of functions (weekends especially) not only do was have to contend with ‘noisy congregations’ outside the centre (wasn’t this the reason why the community club &bar was shut down in the first place) we now have to contend with the forecourt car park being used as a public car park for the community centre. Would it be possible to have a definite date when the barrier will be replaced? Or on a temporary basis use the original gate to prevent usage of car park! After all any residents visitors have to pay to park there.

It is fascinating that we get more parking now we are in the congestion zone and ulez. I believe in the beginning there was a tree in the centre of the paved area and children learnt to ride their bikes there.

What happened to the old barrier? I remember on that day it was there when I went to work and when I came home it looked like it had been ripped off. Did someone drive into it?
