Its about three weeks since the graffiti was plastered all over the canopy of Gt Arthur and its still there.

One wonders why the Corporation haven't removed it.  Leaving it there will only encourage more graffiti.

Micheal, this is James B (on my partners pc). I completely agree with you on this, but H&S as always overrules and not always in the best interests of others. Is there any way we could arrange a trip up as I have never been. Also what is with the rancid sewer smell around GAH?

Thanks.

James

Two years ago we organised a trip for residents to visit the roof.  About eighty people visited.  The visit was a great success. Have a look in the video section of this site for a couple of videos showing the view from the top.  Now that major works are going to take place on the whole building is the obvious time to make access to the roof safe.  The only real problem is that the safety rail is lower than would now be standard. Making the safety rail a little higher cannot be that difficult.  Here is a picture to inspire you and here is the video.

And here's a great picture from this site by Michael Bojkowski.

I want to see this so badly, thanks Paul and Michael
If enough people are interested, I think we should suggest organising another trip.
Count me in for a trip to the roof!
obviously count myself and my better half!
Absolutely.
