Dear park users,

Following the current consultation on whether parks can be locked, we want to reassure you that Fortune Street Park remains one of the few parks in Islington that continues to be locked and unlocked. This is thanks to the dedication of our incredible local volunteers and the staff at Giddy Up Café, who carry out this responsibility 365 days a year. They understand the importance of keeping the park safe, well-maintained, and providing much-needed respite for wildlife.

We are committed to maintaining this practice, and this will continue. We are always looking for new local volunteers to help keep it sustainable. If you are interested in getting involved, please reach out via our website: www.fortunestreetpark.com.

Thank you for your continued support.
