A number of residents in the area have received scam letters with stamps from South Africa. They are personally addressed to recipients telling them they may be entitled to 50% share of 17 million dollars. It would seem this scam has been working its way around the world and the aim is to obtain bank details of the victim.

If you know any residents who do not have access to the internet and may be vulnerable to such scams I would be grateful if you would pass this information on.
