Event Description

Golden Lane Leisure Centre

As you will be aware, the Golden Lane Leisure Centre is closed to allow essential refurbishment works to take place. The newly refurbished centre will open in January 2012 with additional facilities for you to enjoy. Throughout the redevelopment process we have held public consultation events regarding the details of the refurbishment works and future plans for the centre. On 31st May we communicated with residents and users regarding the plans for the management of Golden Lane Leisure Centre and Sports Development service. It was agreed at that meeting to hold a public meeting in September to introduce the successful contractor who will manage both services. The City of London is pleased to announce our new partner Fusion Lifestyle, who will manage the new Leisure Centre and Sport Development Service.

We would like to invite you to a public meeting for Golden Lane residents and Leisure Center users to hear the latest plans, meet Fusion Lifestyle and ask any questions relating to the refurbishment.

On 28th September 2011, at the

City of London’s Community and Education Centre

Starting at 6.30pm

The agenda for the evening is as follows:

  • Welcome and Introductions
  • Redevelopment Update
  • Fusion Lifestyle presentation
  • Questions
