Why are there so many light bulbs around the estate that don't work, and haven't worked for ages? Don't residents report the non working ones outside their properties? Surely the estate staff should also be going round checking them regularly.

A couple of years ago I reported a couple of bulbs not working in the block next to me that I could see, and the staff member at the time who I reported it to was questioning why I was reporting on a different block to mine, it really made me feel guilty.

There are estate walkabouts when it is light, why not have one when it is dark?

I totally agree. I have also reported lights not working outside my landing months ago, and nothing was ever done.  It  should not be up to residents to do this.  Thankfully, my outdoor solar lights help!
