To celebrate Mental Health Awareness week 2023, Barbican Library is offering two free workshops on how to release stress and anxiety using breathwork and meditation.

In these workshops, Juliana Lottmann, an experienced meditation and mindfulness teacher, will explain the impact of daily stress and anxiety on our body and mind. She will discuss how to implement a basic mediation practice in our daily lives and the difficulties that can be found on the way. The workshop ends with a short, silent, mantra base, breath awareness practice.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced meditators, looking for an easy practice which could be implemented at home. There are no restrictions - meditation welcomes people from all age, gender and faiths.

Date and Time:

  • Tuesday 16th May, 12.30-1.30pm
  • Thursday 18 May, 6-7pm
