I so agree.  Dare I mention it as inspiration for Great Arthur House roof?  Sorry, couldn't resist!

I am steering clear of that one as I upset the applecart last time I suggested it would be great to have it opened. :-P

Ha!Ha! Jean.  Know what you mean! 

Seeing the large empty space up there, it seems so sad that the roof garden it once had is no more.  Considering how valuable 'green' space is in the City its such a shame.  Of course, its entirely a matter for Great Arthur House residents to decide.  Just glad I am not one of them under the circumstances!
