There seems to be no TV signal for Basterfield House, for the second day.

A number of neighbours have phoned the 0845 number but its just a recorded message, with no response till Monday.

We all want to indulge ourselves in Strictly"s final tonight. Can anyone help?

Very sad news about Valerie. I'm wondering if the Shed money shouldn't be put towards setting up a social fund for the Estate and its residents and maybe getting an Estate-wide panic button system in place? We can't let this happen again...

i think the problem is to do with the three massive cranes that are just north of the estate that are causing the blockage of signal i am getting bad signal during the working days but ist ok during the evening and weekends im in great arthur house

TV in Crescent House is looking a bit flaky, and in my experience there will be no response from that o8 what ever number till the new year, and that is why the estate office has put notices up saying not to bother them and ring that number.

I was told that MDTV does not respond until at least three residents call the number to register a problem. Once that happens it is counted as a block fault and the out-of-hours engineer will visit.

Has anyone rang MDTV? as we only have their word that less than 3 people have rang.

I think it is the wind, I can see the aerial being blown about by the wind, most of the channels are un watchable.

Outstanding that they spend over a million as far as I can recollect to renew the whole estate's cabling and aerial, and couldn't pre empt strong winds on a tower block and use a decent solid mast to mount the aerial. Marvellous.

This post was not as clear as it could have been - as far as I know the requirement for three residents to complain before the engineer visits is for the out-of-hours service only. During working hours individual complaints should be investigated.
