Thanks Steve, must go.  Also just read about the rehang at the Guildhall gallery, which looks good, so another must go!

..and some lovely old/ ancient drafting tools- just like those that I trained on.

The exhibition is on the ground floor just outside the Lakeside cafe.

Yes, it was rather moving to see the drawing tools on which my home was drawn - and to notice that although Golden Lane Estate was consciously forward-looking and modernist in conception, that the tools themselves hard hardly changed from those in use 500 years earlier.

Since them computers have rapidly swept those skills away.
