Hi,

We were informed that Great Arthur House is being switched from an analogue TV signal to a digital one. Don't we already have digital cable?

Thanks,

Chamoun

I think we do.  However, and I am not an expert here, I believe it is more to do with our own TV sets.  We need to have digital TVs, or a box set, that will cover this.  I am sure our area is being 'converted' in April.

Hi Maria,

thanks for your reply. I look forward to April then.

All the best,

Chamoun

Hi,

We are using a digital TV without any problems, so as long as you have a working box, you should be fine.

Thanks James.

That's good to know.

Oh!  Heck!  Rick.  Can't help, I'm afraid.  Sorry to be a TV twit, but what is the difference between HD, is that High Definition, and a normal Freeview, digital TV?  I have 2 of these, and managed to successfully retune both, eventually.  My problem is that my last TV is non digital, and has a Freeview set top box, which often causes me trouble, so much that I want to chuck it out the window!!  Have resigned to getting a new TV!

I presume you have tried to tune it as if it were totally new, and had not been tuned in in the first place?  Sometimes this modern technology really gets me!!!  Am still learning to use a computer!!!

My Freeview Plus box has re-tuned ok but I also have an HD TV with built in Freeview and am now missing some channels including the HD ones. Have tried re-tuning but no luck :-(

Anyone else have the same problem or know how to resolve it?
