Can anyone from the Allotment Group explain what they will do with the £8,000, £10,000 or £12,000 they will get from Tesco's consumers please?   I can't really find anything that outlines how the money will be spent - just a picture of a yard, which sort of suggests that it could soon be storing £12,000 worth of grow-bags. Do these grow-bags go to individuals, does the product of it then become the individuals, who decides who get's the grow bags?????

I know a lot of people are asking the same questions given how heavily the vote had been advertised on here.

Hoping someone can enlighten the rest of us. Thanks.

That's a lotta spuds.

All I know is that each person who has a grow bag, including myself, pays an annual 'rent' of £20.  I obtained mine after being on a waiting list.  No one actually owns their bag, as far as I know.

Thanks Maria - that sort of makes the question of where will the money go even more interesting then!  Someone, somewhere on Golden Lane must have entered the Allotment Group into the contest and have given Tesco some idea of what they would do with it?????????

Thanks "Mother" - I'm sure that's helped a lot of people to understand what it's all about.  David
